Marjorie is a self taught artist with a fascination with Beautiful things. This led to a business painting children’s Portraits. During the time she owned The Treasure House, an antique Shop in NH, she began painting in the Limoges style, painting roses on furniture. Her furniture was featured in LaRuche on Newbury St, Boston, The Wicker Garden on 5th Avenue in NY, Rosa Ragosa, Martha’s Vineyard and Ambrosia In Boca Ratan. She was featured in the Boston Globe and the Lowell Sun Newspapers.
She also painted 20 murals for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in addition to many commercial murals in New England.
Marjorie has taught at art seminars over the US & Canada and paints private portrait commissions. Currently, she enjoys creating her “Silent Companions” on canvas & wood. ,travel teaching & hosting workshops in her studio in Edgewater, Florida. The Shop, Pink Flamingo & Petals, caries Her work.
